Wow, that's a wonderful story... spoken with so few words but wonderfully said. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Rita,
A friend sent this fine video to me yesterday and I sent it on to "Dee's List" of friends and relatives. Its message is so powerful and yet so simple.

Peace.

Darn it, Rita. Now you have me crying, a lot. What a sad, but beautiful video. I hope everyone takes the time to view it. It's a lovely look at how angels are among us. We just don't recognize them sometimes.

I've seen this; it is very touching! Makes you realize no matter how small of a something you do for someone, it could mean a lot to them indeed!

hope your day is going well

This was well-worth the time - to view and to think over what was being said...

:) Rita, I suspect you would do the same with a dollar's worth of change...

...and that is reason enough for anyone to be glad to be your friend.

Thanks so much, everyone!!
I had seen it before, too, but it gets me all teary-eyed every time I see it.
Yes, a beautiful reminder of angels in disguise and how such a small thing can mean everything to someone else.
Spreading the love and kindness is what the holiday season mean to me...vibrates in the marrow. :):)

I forgot to tell you that I tried to become a follower several times but for some reason it just won't go through.
Get them circle letters in the mail, girl. I'm at the end so I would like to get my second one for Christmas.

Aliene--Something should work. You have blogger, so did you try going way up to the very top and clicking follow? That's how I follow others on blogger. How about follow by email? I hope something works. I don't know how to fix anything on blogger. :(
I should have the letters in the mail by Monday. :)

I hadn't seen this. It totally brought me to tears (which considering my mother jokes that I'm a 'cold hard bitch' through sad movies, as I never cry, is a mighty feat). Would really like to see the rest of his day, such a believer in karma I think everyone he touched the day before would have some part to play in the rest of it. Thanks for sharing Rita xxx

You would have to be pretty jaded NOT to cry over this one. I loved it, Rita. Thank you so much for sharing it. It was the first time I'd seen it...

Have never seen this before. Thank you so much for posting it. What an inspiring message. How little it takes to truly make such an impact - in some cases, a life-changing impact - on someone's life. Such a timely and good reminder at this time of year!

This reminds me of my favorite new quote from a TED talk on gratefulness:

Let the gratefulness overflow into blessing all around you. Then it will really be a good day.--from Gratitude, a TED talk by Louie Schwartzberg
